SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT TO USE
ACCURATE IN THE RESULTS
ADAPTABLE TO THE INDIVIDUAL USERS
As one of the leading software tools in immission control, service providers, authorities and industrial companies have been relying on IMMI for more than 30 years. IMMI is our software package for noise calculation outdoors, noise pollution in working areas and dispersion of air pollutants.
30 YEARS IMMI – CELEBRATE WITH US
Our software for immission control IMMI entered markets in 1992 and is thus proudly 30 years old. Celebrate with us and go on a time travel along the most important milestones – from DOS to Windows, from floppy disks to CDs and downloads, from guidelines to regulations – on our anniversary page!
Life is not only becoming faster and faster, but also louder and louder. Caused by industry and commerce, traffic or neighbors – we are surrounded by noise almost around the clock. Some loud and disturbing like the permanent building site next door or the main road in front of our door, others under our own control like the radio in our car. The threshold at which the individual perceives a sound as noise varies greatly. What is certain, however, is that the exposure to loud noise can impair performance and sleep, reduce the quality of life and, in the worst case, even cause illness. In order to ensure compliance with limit values and, if necessary, to develop effective noise reduction measures, a well-founded noise forecast is essential.

IN THE MARKET
The core of immission control in Germany is the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). In addition to the existing regulations in Germany, IMMI also supports all relevant international calculation regulations. Here you will find an overview. For further information about standard-compliant calculations, please contact our experts Janosch Blaul and Denise Müller directly.
As a maintenance customer or within the first 12 months of a new purchase, you can reach us Monday thru Friday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. by calling the hotline or via email.

"For almost 25 years now, the IMMI software package has been an extremely useful and helpful support for me in the computer-aided solution of a wide range of sound-related problems. It also fills me with pride to see that a few of my suggestions have been incorporated into IMMI. All the time you and your colleagues have been helpful not only to me but to all IMMI users in case of questions and needs".

"We have been using IMMI since 2000. Before purchasing, we compared all relevant products on the market. The decision to purchase IMMI was based on the very logical setup and technically clear program operation. We also appreciate the competent, quick and effective problem solving via hotline inquiries – definitely a big plus for Wölfel. To summarize: IMMI – We would definitely go for it again."

“We very frequently use the IMMI model to predict the sound pressure level effect on the nearest houses to new industrial activities, crushers, gas engines, ... Afterwards we always try to execute measurements to check the results. The IMMI model is well suited to make these predictions (in other words the measured sound pressure levels are almost equal to the calculated sound pressure levels).”

“We use IMMI to evaluate the effectiveness of noise barriers where the possibility to import a wide range of input data is necessary. The simulations made in IMMI are presented very clearly and are visually attractive. This means the results can be understood by both professionals and people who are new to the subject. The user friendly interface is easy to work with and allows a fast learning curve for new users.”
Prof. Dr. Ing. Cedric Vuye,
As founding members of the standardization committees for DIN 45687 and ISO 17534, the IMMI team has contributed significantly to the quality standard for immission forecasts that is now established worldwide and which serious products in this field must meet.
You, our users, play an essential role in the shaping of IMMI. The software as we know it today has taken its current shape due to the daily support we provide our customers – not only the user, but also we learn in the process. The feedback we get is the base for our continuous development. Together with our engineers, an experienced team realizes our high standards of service quality, user-friendliness, and being up-to-date.
What the new quality assurance rules for noise prediction software mean for IMMI users
The functions of immission control software are subject to strict quality assurance rules in Germany and Europe. We have summarized what this means…
